Professional Referral Guide
Know who to introduce—and what happens next.
Retire With Swan is a founder-led, flat-fee retirement-planning firm based in Northlake, Texas. This guide is for CPAs, attorneys, advisers, insurance professionals, ministry and community leaders, and other people trusted by families near retirement.
A strong-fit household
- Usually within five years before or after retirement.
- Has several connected decisions—not one isolated question.
- Wants the decisions written down before implementation.
- Is open to fixed-fee ongoing planning or delegated investment management if the relationship proves useful.
- Is prepared to consider the published fee for the work.
Usually outside the lane
- Early-career accumulation by itself.
- Investment management without retirement planning.
- A stock pick, product sale, or isolated transaction.
- Active business succession, private-company liquidity, or family-office-level complexity.
- A household outside Texas without an available advisory path.
The planning-first path
- Private household fit check.
- 20-minute Swan Fit Call.
- Complete, stand-alone Retire Blessed Income Blueprint.
- Optional Ongoing Wealth Management or advice-only Bridge Window under a separate agreement.
Christopher accepts up to two new Blueprint households each month so he can remain directly involved in every plan.
What the flat fee means
No commissions. No AUM. Flat Fee.
Fees are stated for the service and household type, not calculated as a percentage of assets. Retire With Swan may manage eligible accounts under Ongoing Wealth Management. A flat fee is not always the lowest fee.
The coordination promise
Christopher owns the retirement-plan thread. CPAs keep tax advice and preparation. Attorneys keep legal advice and documents. Insurance professionals keep product implementation. Private information is exchanged only with the household’s permission and only to the extent needed for the work.
A simple introduction
Chris, I wanted to introduce you to [Name]. They are thinking through retirement decisions and I thought Retire With Swan may be a helpful resource. I will let the two of you decide whether the private fit check, a Swan Fit Call, or a separate professional conversation makes sense.
Ask permission before sharing contact information. Keep the first note general; private financial details can wait until scope and consent are clear.
